Trust in the Lord

It’s been quite some time since I last blogged because I have been kept very very busy with work. No prizes for why I can blog today.

I’m on MC again today. Yes, I use the word again, because it was not too long ago that I was on MC. Guess I have been pushing myself too much and my body has decided to go on strike.

But I thank God for this day of rest. It is not only a day of rest for my body, but also a day of rest for my mind. I have been struggling with several issues, and wondering why God is not answering my prayers. This unhappiness has been troubling me and it has affected people around me too. Believe it or not, He spoke to me today. He finally let me see light in all that I have been troubled with. And at the time when I woke up from my nap, my friend messaged me this,

“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” ~ Hebrews 11:1.

It may sound absurb to you, but it is certainly not absurb to me. Everything falls in place now. Rather than worrying and reacting negatively, I am just going to trust in the Lord. It is not an easy task for me, and friends who are close to me will know. By faith, I am going to go forth and commit everything to the Lord.

And my friend, my prayer for you is that you will trust in the Lord too. Because God is good.  =)

There are moments this week where I felt quite hopeless, trying so hard to be strong but at the same time wishing I know where this life is going to lead me. Thanks for the encouragement from God’s word – how tender and comforting the truth is.
