Just came back from a work trip to Trengganu last night. One of my colleagues called it a ‘working holiday’ but I call it a work trip. Because it was so tiring. Activities were packed and travelling time was super long. And you’re supposed to enjoy if it’s a holiday…
Anyway, the reason I’m blogging about this trip is because of some people I’ve got to know on the trip. The vendor was a pretty elderly man in his 50s. His partner was also in his 50s. The vendor’s wife also tagged along for this trip. She was a very pleasant lady in her late 40s. What struck me about the three of them was their strong faith. There was once that I had an opportunity to chat with the lady for about 2 hours. I would say it was a very enriching experience for me. Somehow we hit it off very well, and she started sharing with me about her family. There was something evident in what she shared – her faith in God was very strong. And she knew her role as a wife, as a mother, as a child of God very well. =)
I must say I was very impressed. And I felt that I have so much to learn from her.
And once again, it dawned upon me how wonderfully God worked. He always brought people into my life, people that greatly encouraged me in my faith, in my walk with Him. And I thank God for that. =)
